Starting to come together
You know that feeling when things are finally starting to come together? Like that vision you had for yourself, that you manifested for yourself is finally starting to come together bit by bit? Well stepping into my new space I am blown away by how much it has truly come together and how my idea’s are flowing for the space. Everyday I get to go into my new space the pure joy that lights up my face. I get to go in and expand upon what I have been creating for myself. It still seems unreal, and part of me just still has so much work ahead of me to do but I know now, more than ever that I can do it.
I have been manifesting this space for a while. When I wanted to move my space I said it would be in a house, on the second floor and boom it was. I knew I wanted it to feel bright and alive with lots of plants, so as soon as I get that bloody power on then you best believe that I am going to get my plants in there! I wanted it to feel warm and welcoming, with a great cohesive feel to it and that’s where the fun is actually starting to come in. Decorating is my favorite part of the process, to be able to create a feeling that is me and represents the brand is so much fun. As I work with my rebranding team in coming up with a concept that matches Dare to Habit, I am utilizing some of the colors from it to bring it into the space!
What do you feel has been coming along for you? Have you noticed any progress in your own life? If not, then what can you do to take actionable steps in order to get things moving forwards? When things are wrapping it up it usually means that you are taking charge of your life and moving in the direction you planned or wanted for yourself. If you don’t have that yet then don’t fret, it’s okay not to know and look at it as a fun way to get in touch with yourself.
What are some ways to start figuring out what you would love to do in your life? Well think about qualities you like. Do you like things compassion, competition, fun, communication, etc. this will help you narrow down things a little more because what you want to do isn’t just about the act of what you do but whom you do it with as well. Careers can change and evolve as often as you need them to so don’t get discouraged if you aren’t where you want to be at all. 10 years ago I was in an unhappy relationship, working in retail and making less 12$ an hour, I had no idea what I wanted, where I wanted to go, or who I even was. It takes time to heal from your past, it takes time to find yourself and it takes time to grow but don’t think it’s hopeless. I’m living proof its not.
Once you have some qualities you want in a career now we get to explore the technical skills of the job. What seems like fun for you? Are you interested in technology? Finance? Medicine? Arts? Exploring? Sciences? Architecture? Trades? Plants? There are so many things we can do, so don’t limit yourself to what the standard 9-5 is. I don’t have a 9-5 and am so grateful because I couldn’t ever have something like that again. I work for myself helping people and I couldn’t be happier. So don’t assume having a career means you have to work for someone else. Sure setting out on your own is scary but it’s rewarding as well.
Now that you have 1 or 2 areas you are interested in ask yourself do you need schooling or can you just find something now with your current skill set. You have to know where you are right now, and if you want to be a marine biologist without any education then the likelihood of you getting a position is low. Let’s just say then you find a school that allows you to go into that field, maybe working at a place like an aquarium, or a fish store, or a vet may be a good basis for you. It gives you experience working in a field with animals and gives you customer service experience as well. Remember it doesn’t have to be pretty you just have to do it, so starting low on the pole doesn’t mean that you won’t rise. You have to do the work in order to get to where you want to be. So going to school and working in an animal shelter is a great start to helping further your career. You never know that maybe that job reference could be the make it break it tie you needed to get your dream job.
Just because things may not be coming together doesn’t mean they never will. The reasons things are working for me is because I had a path I chose and kept following it and pushing it even when I hated it, or when I loved it, I kept pushing forwards and you can too. If you are in a thankless job I know it sucks, I’ve been there, but it’s temporary if you make a choice to change. If the corporate life isn’t for you anymore because it’s beyond stressful then find out what you truly want. Maybe you always wanted to open up an adult barbie store and have clothes barbie would wear in there. Don’t let not knowing how hold you back from doing it. Research, read, learn, ask as many successful people as you can. Another thing don’t look at where someone else is and compare your own progress. I did that for so long with people, other businesses and alls that did is make me doubt myself, halt progress, and keep me down. That mentality is bullshit so cross it off your list and write instead, “I am exactly where I am suppose to be for my own growth.”
I know I am telling you about how things are starting to come together for me but please don’t let this discourage you. Allow it to inspire you to reach unbelievable heights for yourself. I am still scared shitless about this whole venture, and have moments I am like wow what am I even doing right now. If you get like that its okay and normal. It’s absolutely fine to have those moments of self doubt even when things are wrapping up nicely, but don’t fall to them and cave. Use those thoughts as fuel to fire yourself up and try to surpass what you were just doing.
I want you to see your own greatness and am excited for you to walk into your own power. See the climb as your way of getting to the top. Let it thrill you and watch it all wrap up right before your eyes. It’s beautiful when you get to see it, so be patient and kind my friends. Make good boy and good girl choices and celebrate you!
Today was 10! Grateful
