Hi! I am Hope Ackerly, CEO of D2H + I work at Marist College (D1 school) with the student athletes + I just worked at the OLYMPIC SWIM TRIALS.
I have been practicing sports medicine for 10+ years now. As a Licensed Massage therapist since 2012 I have worked in a variety of settings to be able to find my specialty and passion. It wasn’t until working in a CROSSFIT gym of (4+ years) that I discovered my love for sports medicine. I have taken numerous Continuing Education Courses such as
Sports Massage certificate
Cranial Sacral

AIS
Travel Care Specialist
Tok Sen
Emotion Code
Rolfing
Quantum Healing
Reiki level 2
CF-L1
NCSF-PT, + more
I am always a forever student who strives to improve my craft constantly. My style is quite unique and very meticulous and detailed. I’ve incorporated a bunch of techniques I’ve learned such as myofascial massage, Graston, Cupping, Trigger point therapy and more to create a one-of-a-kind experience. I play detective to find solutions to alleviate the client’s concerns and problematic areas based on body reading, gait analysis and visual/intuitional senses I’ve acquired over the years.
MASSAGE THERAPY - SWEDISH + SPORTS
Geoffrey Curtis, LMT
Graduated (2024)
From bodybuilding roots to massage therapy, my journey has always been shaped by a passion for physical fitness and helping others feel their best. Growing up, I had a front-row seat to the world of competitive bodybuilding—my mom competed in the '80s, and my dad was her coach. This early exposure to fitness gave me a deep appreciation for the human body and its potential, as well as the ability to guide friends and family through physical challenges, whether through mechanical solutions or behavioral changes.
While my career path has been anything but linear—roofing as a family trade, pursuing engineering, exploring nursing at SUNY Orange, and finally landing in massage therapy—it’s in massage therapy that I’ve truly found my calling. Each twist in the road has given me unique perspectives and skills, allowing me to bring a well-rounded approach to my practice.
Currently, I specialize in Swedish and sports massage, cupping, and trigger point therapy. My love for learning means I’m constantly exploring new techniques to expand my repertoire and better serve my clients. Whether it’s helping someone recover from an injury or preparing an athlete for peak performance, I tailor each session to meet specific needs.
My ultimate career goal is to work with an Olympic training team or a national sports team. I’m driven by the idea of helping athletes fine-tune their bodies to perform at their best, and I know that working in such a dynamic environment would deepen my understanding of the human body and propel my career to the next level.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me staying active through weekly workouts—because a healthy body is essential for a healthy mind. My unique journey and diverse experiences make me adaptable, innovative, and passionate about finding the best solutions to help others achieve their physical potential.
