Inspiring Hope

I can’t tell you how much today was needed for me. I have spent a good long time alone, figuring out how to open up and be myself, but in my foundation the cracks run deep and long. It wasn’t until today spending time with my dad, sister, and boyfriend that I finally felt like I was able to mend my foundation. Everything that had happened in the past melted, forgiveness, kindness and compassion was the only thing that pumped in my veins. This was my family and today I was able to be a part of one. Something I haven’t felt in so long, and not just a whisper of family but my real family. I felt so grateful to see my dad and sister talking, like a pride you feel that warms and melts your heart.

Because of this reuniting it made me feel so open to the world. I wanted to chat with everyone, spreading love, and kindness everywhere. I felt so much joy because I had the most amazing day with my family since I was a kid. Today wasn’t about judgements, or old hurts, it was about Hope. Hope for the future, for bonds to be formed, for new doors to open. This type of Hope brings a courage with it that I feel like I can achieve anything because I have them in my corner, and that’s all I have ever needed. Not money, or material things, but just support and love. Words to build each other up when we are down, encouragement when we are faced with worry. That is how you build the spirit of someone, acceptance, love, and compassion.

So I will say this again to you, do you work from a place of love and compassion for others? Or do you see them as a convenience, or a dollar bill, or just background noise? Do you treat others with respect or do you take them for granted? Think about everyone in your life, now what is one thing you can do to be better? Is it listen more? Be kinder? Be more accepting? We all walk in the dark, everyone of us, don’t be fooled by the highlight reels or the fake facades people use. WE ALL DEAL WITH DARKNESS! How would you want to be treated as you walk through it? Treat others the way you wish to be treated and expect nothing in return. The way we inspire others is through compassion and genuine love. You don’t have to put a mask on, and act tough, you just have to have an open heart.

Today was a 10!
